ii. Advertisements FLIGHT MAY 8TH, 1947 How Noral Alloys helped to build the DeHavillaiKTDove' De Havilland's technicians, with other leading designers of British aircraft, have set a tremendous pace in the development of light-weight alloys of exceptional strength and toughness. We are proud to have kept abreast of these developments by the production of new Noral aluminium alloys which have satisfied the most exacting demands. Our contribution to the de Havilland c Dove' includes the special castings illustrated here. They are vital parts on the control mechanism of the aircraft and were cast in Noral 226 (to specification DTD 298 and 304) and Noral 350 (to specification DTD 300). In addition we made the extrusions for the wing spars in Noral C77S (to specification DTD 363A) and the sheet for skinning, ribs, etc., in Noral 26S (to specifications DTD 546A and 610A). We also forged the airscrew blades in Noral 17S (to DTD 150A). We can give you facts about aluminium. Northern Aluminium COMPANY LIMITED • BANBURY, OXON
