The new materials are claimed towithstand operating temperatures of 2,000 degrees F. and it is further claimedthat their use enables between-overhaul periods of this type of engine to be ex-tended to over 140 hours. * • * ^»Increased demands on the rfTo.A.C. route to the Persian Gulf have led tothe introduction of three flying boat ser- vices a week in each direction to Bahreininstead of two.
