March 4th, 1948 I A LEOPARD THAT DID ... Latest off the Tudor production line, this Mk IV, for British South American Airways, embodies recent modifications. The addition of short exhaust pipes to the inboard-side cylinder banks of the four Rolls- Royce Merlins hay resulted in a much quieter cabin, and an aerodynamic clean-up has improved % performance. This aircraft is at present at Boscombe and will, it is hoped, be in service very shortly.
