Flight, August 12th, 1948. Advt. Admirably suited to applications which require instantaneous " cut-off" action should the electrical supply fail, this actuator is designed to move load of 10 1b. through 1|- in., the motor increasing effec- tive spring tension from 10 to 20 lb. while retracting the ram. Gearing between motor and ram is engaged when solenoid is energised ; when current is cut off, the spring will return ram to original position against a load of 10 lb. in under 1 second. Fitted with standard Rotax brake mechanism. Current consump- tion is 3.5 amp. at 24 volts. Complete unit weighs 3 1b. Complete Electrical Systems and Equipment /or Aircrah ROTAX
