THIRTY YEARS' EXPERIENCE All that we have learnt in thirty years — the world's longest record of trainer construction — has been built into the new Avro Athena. This, our latest advanced trainer, is made to Air Ministry specification. It is designed for high performance and fighter manoeuvrability, and has cockpit space for two pupils and the pilot instructor. Above all, it embodies more than any other training aircraft what counts most of all in aviation — the fruits of experience. There are alternative types.
