Airline Marlrfers A Glimpse at B.O.A.C.'s Marine Craft OrganizationU rP to the withdrawal of the Short Hythe class flyin boats from the Australian route, British Overseas Airways Corporation was operating over 20,000 miles of flying-boat routes, on which 200 marine craft were manned by 700 trained staff at nearly 30 bases.
