THE NEW 24V. 15Ah. 321 Ib.—24V. 25Ah. 43J Ib. AVVAHCZD-IN DESIGN & PERFORMANCE The lightest British civil aircraft battery of its voltage and capacity In the new 24-volt Exide Battery there is scarcely a part that does not represent a new and important advance on previous practice. This is the first—at present the only—24-volt air- craft battery in a monobloc container. Weight is down to 43£ Ib. complete: capacity is 25 ampere hours. The one-piece moulded container is of tough, acid-proof, shock-resistant plastic, lighter in density than water. Quick release, non- reversible terminals, simple two-point fixing, automatic control of electrolyte level, ribbed microporous P.V.C. separators, long-life plates and 200 ampere output for engine starting, are among the features that make this an out- standingly better battery for non-aerobatic civil aircraft.
