Approval Tests REGISTERED TRADE MARK The result of years of development and latest of a line of engines famed for re- liability and economy, the Cirrus 'Bombardier' incorporates many new features providing, amongst other advantages, greater power for weight. Direct petrol injection to each cylinder ensures an improved distribution of petrol and Tetra Ethyl Lead, and an extremely economical fuel consumption. With the absence of a carburetter, freeze- up troubles are virtually eliminated and the S.U. Petrol Injection Equipment is fitted with automatic mixture control governed1 by air intake temperature and altitude. Only one control lever is necessary. The 'Bombardier' is equipped to take ft variety of accessories. The ignition system is completely screened : oil supplies BLACKBURN & GENERAL AIRCRAFT fully filtered and centrifuged ; whilst gear type pressure and scavenge oil pumps are fitted. Provision is made for a C.S. hydraulically operated propeller. The Engine is designed for easy instal- lation and to give good cowling con- tours. It can be used as a tractor or pusher. The 'Bombardier' is a top per- formance long-life engine, ideal for light aircraft, LIMITED BROUGH c. YORKS.
