FLIGHT; g February 1950 GUILD TEST PILOTS DINE Fifty Present at First Annual G ,—•————— FLIGHT" photographs SUCH was the success of the first dinner of the Test Pilots' Section of the Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators that everyoneexpressed the hope that it will be possible (as is the intention) to make this an annual affair. Held at Stanhope Gate, London, last Friday, the dinner was informal ; the Royal toast was proposed by Mr. Geoffrey Tyson, a warden of the Guild, and that of " The Guests " by Mr. J. A. D. Scott ; A.Cdre. H. L. Patch replying. Sir Archibald Rowlands, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Supply, G/C. P. W. S. Bulman, and Mr. E. C. Bowyer (S.B.A.C.) were additional, off-the-record speakers. (I) S/L. A. R. Moore, D.F.C., and Mr. W. B. Price- Owen (2) Mr. G. A. V. Tyson with A.Cdre. H. L. Patch, C.B.E.
