THE COMET IN ROME Pictorial Postscript to Last Week's Story of a Record Flight THE enthusiasm which greeted the de Havilland Comet's arrival in Rome after its recordflight from Hatfield on March 16th—scenes which were repeated in Copenhagen five dayslater—is admirably conveyed in several of these photographs, (i) A British staff carawaiting the return of the guests from an inspection of the Coliseum.
