M The armourer above is affixing 8£ Ib fragmentation bombs to the carrier of a Vampire for a dive-bombing demonstration. Note that the light- bomb carrier is attached to the main (500/1,000 Ib) carrier. Below, the 20 mm guns of the Vampire are in process of being re-armed.
