The Wyvern and the Anvil INTERPOSED between the grandeur of a cumulo nimbus cloud formation and Flight's camera is a West-land Wyvern T.F.4 strike fighter, with Armstrong Siddeley Python turboprop. This mark of Wyvern is being series-produced for the Royal Navy at Yeovil and flight- testing is under way at Menyfield, whence S/L. D. Colvin had brought the specimen which forms the subject of John YoxalTs pictures. The photographic vehicle was Wesdand's communications Rapide; the "chauffeur" (who himself would have felt equally at home in the Wyvern's Martin- Baker seat) was Mr. R. S. Bradley, who demonstrated a Wyvern with great verve at Farnborough last year.
