Powered either by a Rolls Royce Avon or Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire pilot At 31 years of age, Neville Duke, Chief Test Pilot at Hawkers, is the holder of an impressive and distinguished record, and was recently awarded the O.B.E. During the war he won the D.S.O., D.F.C. and 2 Bars, A.F.C. and Czech. Military Cross. He was credited with 28 confirmed victories. Since then he has contributed his services to the Empire Test Pilots School, High Speed Flight, and The Ministry of Supply's Establishment at Boscombo Down.
