The fuselage is divided into three P/(nc'f" compartments: beneath the floor of the central main cabin is the Freon refrigeration plant; while at the rear of the fuselage is a semicircM lounge. The power plants are Wright R-3350-30WA Turbo-Compounds (basically R-33SO radials with "power-recovery" section added) "n are fitted with the Douglas-designed carburettor air-scoop detailed on page 147.
