Seven Seas progress. It is now expected that the first Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas will fly ahead of schedule. Originally, the first flight was due in December, but a late- September announcement said that the Wright Turbo-compounds were in position and that the first flight was only "30 to 40 days away". France Morane-Saulnier M.S. Paris. A contract covering design and tooling for quantity production of the Morane-Saulnier M.S. 760 Paris four-seat executive/liaison air- craft has been placed and a production order is imminent. The French Air Force and Navy are preparing estimates of their respective needs and it is thought that a number of 760s will be ordered by private owners. Meanwhile, the demonstrator continues its American tour. By October 14th it had flown 427 hr and carried 2,126 passengers. S.O.4050 Vautour. A Vautour attackbomber was recently inspected at Cazaux by an Indian Air Force mission. High-speed bomb dropping was demonstrated and a member of the mission observed thisfrom a "chase ship."
