28 FLIGHT 18 NOVEMBER 1955 MAGNIFICENT ACHIEVEMENT—On September 3, Sqn. Ldr. Fifield made the first live zero-feet ejection in a Martin-Baker Patent fully Automatic Ejection Seat from a Meteor 7/8.
