May 1°56 647 EWELL TO THE SABRE squadrons are re-equipping with Hunters and the view above shows No. 66 Squadron's mixed equipment during transition: Sabre, Hunter and standby Meteor—all wearing the white flash which is the unit's distinctive marking. The red and yellow chequerboard of No." 92 Sqn. appears on the fuselages of the other Sabres as they perform some very creditable formation flying.
