This year the exhibitors' private enclosures are arranged in four rows immediately in front of the exhibition hall. Farnborough: Information for Show Visitors Dates, Times, Prices and Travel Facilities THIS year's Flying Display and Exhibition of the Societyof British Aircraft Constructors at Farnborough next weekwill, as usual, be open to the public on the three final days, Friday to Sunday, September 7-9. On the opening day,Monday, admission will be confined to technicians from the aircraft industry, and on the three following days to visitors withspecial invitations. On the public days the gates open at 10 a.m., and the flyingdisplay begins at 3 p.m. This year each afternoon's flying is to be divided into five phases, during three of which an assort-ment of aircraft will be in the air simultaneously, for between four and seven minutes in each case. The opening item will bea spectacular demonstration of the trooping capabilities of the Blackburn Beverley. There will, of course, be individual displaysof selected aircraft, and, again as usual, a number of aircraft will be available for inspection on the ground. Admission prices for Friday, the public premiere, are: adults,£1; children under 14, 10s; coach parking, £1; car parking (excluding occupants), £1; motor cycles, 5s; cycles, 2s 6d. Onthe Saturday and Sunday admission prices are: adults, 5s; children 2s 6d. Parking charges for these two days are: cars,£1 10s (including up to six occupants, excess passengers at normal fees); motor coaches, 10s; motor cycles, 2s 6d; cycles, Is.For Friday only, tickets can be obtained in advance from Auto- parks, Ltd., 1-31 Madise Road, London, W.14. Tickets forSaturday and Sunday (and for Friday also) are obtainable at the gates. The airfield is easily reached by road, and the R.A.C. is pro- Rood approaches to the airfield. From the points indicated by arrows the police-approved routes are signposted by the R.A.C.
