FLIGHT Passenger service panels and public-address loud- speakers are mounted in the overhead racks. The usable cabin width has been increased by 4in in the Viscount 802, but an illusion of even greater beam dimensions has been created by six semi-bulk- heads and by the use of transverse lighting strips in the flat Vynide-covered roof panels. When the seats are removed to obtain maximum capacity from the 802 in its freighter role, these corrugated screens are used to protect the cabin lining. They are attached at the bottom to the outer seat rails and at the top to a tube normally concealed by the hat racks.
