The picture is wonderfully symbolic of the global operations of the USA-F.'sStrategic Air Command (S.A.C.); and the smaller views—showing navigation satchels being picked upand a crew running to their aircraft—are evocative of the security measures and alertness which are socharacteristic of the mighty Command which of late has been so often in the world's headlines.
