54 FLIGHT 2 JANUARY 1959 Born and bred in the Industry ENV were established in 1910 to build aero engines, one of which powered the first all-British machine to fly ,the Channel. Since then, ENV have been continuously associated with the Aircraft Industry. From the earliest they were renowned for the exceptional quality and workmanship of their products.
