FLIGHT, 15 May 1959 aboard Britain's latest rotary wing aircraft PLANNAIR blowers take core of air movement Fairey Rotodyne 11* diameter Blower with direct drive from engine supplies 5,500 c.f.m. at 12" s.w.g. for cooling engine oil, engine bays and electrical equipment. Westland Westminster Two 3" diameter Blowers producing 150 c.f.m. at 4" s.w.g. each are used for windscreen demisting and flight cabin ventilation. Bristol 192 Ten 2" diameter heater Blowers are used for heating and ventilating the main cabin.
