12 JUNE 1959 ...-,. -..; *. . : ; ; r . = ••••,- FLIGHT - 53 N - - - "The need for a high accuracy hyperbolic navigation system giving cover from ground level up to the highest altitudes used by com- mercial air transport is already being felt in some parts of the world, and it is the United Kingdom belief that the problems will become even more urgent when jet aircraft begin to operate in appreciable numbers.
