Designed for use in small, high performance aircraft, this unique ADF has since proved itself ideal for executive, sports and feeder line aircraft and helicopters, as well as a wide variety of military types. The small, compact units can be easily fitted into the smallest aeroplanes and the design of the fixed loop aerial produces negligible drag and requires no maintenance. Operating entirely from the aircraft 28v D.C. supply, 28 volts is the highest voltage present in the set. There are no invertors or vibrators and all components are run well below their rating. In over 5 years of service, and in 40 different types of air- craft, the reliability of the AD722 has proved outstanding.
