The canopy is jettisonable and there are front and rear baggage compart-ments. Span, 30ft 7in; length, 25ft 4in; weight equipped, 1,3001b; grossweight, 2,3151b; cruising speed, 178 m.p.h.; range, 745 miles. Siebel S1AT223 Originated by the German Ministry of Economics,and specified by the German Aero Club, the SIAT 223 was recently chosen as the standard club and training aircraft. It is an all-metaltwo-seater with sliding canopy, interchangeable fin and tailplane sections, rectangular wing, tip-tanks, rubber-sprung undercarriageand powered alternatively by a 108 h.p. or 150 h.p. Lycoming engine.
