LIGHT International, 8 March 1962 361 IN THE YEAR OF JUBILEE HawkerHunter F.6s of 92 Sqn—"The 8/ue Diamonds"—in Guardsmanlike line-abreast 1962 sees the fiftieth anniversary of military aviation—with heavier-than-air machines—in the United Kingdom. It was in May 1912 that the Royal Flying Corps was formed, and to mark the jubilee of this event Flight International takes pleasure in paying tribute in colour to the RFC's successor, the Royal Air Force.
