FRED'S FIVE —AND CHUMS IN the Farnborough Display this year wilt be Sea Vixens of 766 Sqn—an element of the Royal Navy Fighter School, RNAS Yeovilton—and Scimitars of 736 Sqn, RNAS Lossiemouth. Less than 15 minutes before the above picture was taken the two units had made rendezvous in the air for the first time; on the right are the Scimitars. Overleaf we present the Sea Vixens —"Fred's Five" as they style themselves. They explain.that they are not acrobatic experts, indeed, Fred himself has been heard to remark, "I wonder why these aircraft keep following me around." Personnel are shown on page 34.
