FLIGHT International, 30 August 1962 I 'immmy^ DOWN TO! A WEIGHT STC, leaders in the design and manufac ture of radio interference suppressors for aircraft, have introduced a new range of metallized polyester suppressors. These meet the demand for operation in high temperatures, being rated for use up to 150CC. They are manufactured from top quality materials for high reliability, and conform to B.S. 2G 100. STC suppressors are used in Argosy, Britannia, Canberra, Comet, P1, Sea Vixen, Twin Pioneer, Vanguard and Viscount fixed wing aircraft, and in the 192 Helicopter. STC RADIO INTERFERENCE MEASUREMENT SERVICE The Interference Measurement Service Department is approved by the MoA and ARB for Type Testing of equipment for radio interference and also for design and development of suppressors and networks to the requirements of B.S. 2G 100 and Section J of B.C.A.R. STC also manufacture suppressors conform ing to B.S. 1597 for marine use and a range for industrial and domestic applications.
