FLIGHT International, 30 August 19 PRESENT The Frankenstein-Beaufort Group of Companies are well-known to the Air Forces and Airlines of the Western World for the application of textile, rubber and human engineering to survival prob lems on land, at sea and in the air. Designers, in collaboration with Service and Research Establishments and Ministries of:- Full Pressure Suits, Pressure Jerkins, Anti-G Suits, Constant Wear Immersion Suits, Inflatable Exposure Suits, Lifejackets for all requirements, Liferafts, Fabric Radomes, Inflatable Air Shelters, Rigid Foam Houses, Dracones, and a wide variety of survival equipment of all kinds. FUTURE The exploration of space presents us with a new challenge to develop new and better textiles, coatings and wider ranges and far greater numbers of inflatable devices than ever used on Earth. Inflated fabrics, indispensable for creating " living- space" in space, will be used continuously in a primary life-supporting role. Not only space suits but whole orbital space stations, permanent living, workshop and factory accommo dation on the Moon, vehicles and winged aircraft on Mars and Venus, will all consist of air-tight scientifically engineered coated fabrics. .' ,- We will be glad to discuss any new problems involving survival equipment, engineered fabrics and coatings.
