It is particularly suitable for the needs of operators of executive or light aircraft. As a standby oxygen supply for airliners, it can be readily installed. This unit, shown attached to a Martin Baker seat, is based on the concept of a complete and integrated oxygen breathing system for normal flight, ejection and descent. The system incorporates quick disconnects and can be readily replaced in service. Main features are integrated air-mix main and emergency oxygen regulators with many automatic or semi automatic safety devices. This unit greatly simplifies ejector seat system installation. One of a series of masks designed to meet the requirements of high- altitude high-speed, military aircraft. In combination with the appropriate pressure garments and oxygen regulators, it will protect a pilot during escape from his aircraft at altitudes up to 56,000 feet. At normal cabin altitudes it provides an efficient yet comfortable seal, thus improving the efficiency of the whole oxygen system.
