The Turbomeca ASTAZOU, a 600 HP single shaft turboprop with a low specific fuel consump tion and high power-to-weight ratio. The ASTAZOU is in service with the Potez 840, Pilatus Porter and Sferma Marquis and has been chosen for the Short Skyvan Mk. 2. The Turbo meca AUBISQUE, a lightweight turbofan of 1500 lb. thrust with a specific fuel consumption at take off of -6 lbs/lb/hr.
