A considerable portion of the activities of the Aerazur company is devoted to the fabrication of pneumatic safety equipment. The following are representative: life-vest Type 17 used by the French Air Force; CEV Aerazur life-vest Type 33 for pilots of the Mirage III; and life-raft Type 11, as used by the French Air Force. This is packed dif ferently according to the type of aircraft or seat with which it is used; one package, for example, is supplied with the [Martin-Baker ejection seat of the Mirage III. Aerazur also supply a full line of multi-seat life-rafts—Type 327 for six persons; Type 427 for ten persons; Type 627 for 20 persons—and 6- and 12-ton pneumatic lifts for raising damaged aircraft. Among the pneumatic equipment a "life-cradle" for babies is note worthy. Other products are floats and pontoons for helicopters and special shock- absorber packings, made of rubberized fabric, for missile recovery. Aero Commander Inc expect to display the Grand Commander, the 680F-P, and—of particular interest—the Jet Com mander. The Grand Commander is slightly more than 6ft longer than earlier Aero Commanders, has increased headroom and a separate crew compartment. Up to nine passengers, in addition to a two-man crew, can be carried. The 680F-P, which is capable of crossing the American continent with only one stop, is pressurized and air-conditioned and seats from 4-7, including crew. The Jet Commander is likewise air-condi tioned and pressurized and has a lavatory and buffet. Powered by two General Electric CJ610 turbojets, it will cruise at over 500 m.p.h.
