Missiles and Spaceflight BLUE STREAK AT WOOMERA Arrival and erection of the Blue Streok DA vehicle at the launch site at Lake Hart, near Woomera, is depicted in these photographs. To accommodate the three-stage BLDO vehicle the existing Blue Streak servicing tower was raised on jacks by 23ft so that a new 100-ton base section could be inserted. As reported on the opposite page, the Blue Streak DA vehicle will be used to check out the ground equipment associated with the launch pad and in general prepare the range facilities for the first live firing next year
