Stream-Line equipment fully complies with these very stringent specifications, removing solid impurities and slight traces of water from fuel, efficiently, economically and speedily. Stream-Line filters /water-separators are available in many sizes and can easily be adapted for fixed installations at bulk stor age, for mounting on refuelling vehicles and aircraft carriers and for use as fully mobile independent units. The Stream-Line type 'K' filter achieves an extremely high effici ency by passing the fuel through specially prepared paper discs compressed by springs and moun ted on metal rods; solid impurities are left at the edges of the discs. The Stream-Line three stage filter/water-separator removes solid impurities plus free and sus pended water from fuel. A high efficiency is achieved with paper, glass fibre and woven nylon fabric elements.
