FLIGHT International, 28 November 1963 899 The Airlines' Shopping List This, the tenth "Flight International" Airlines' Shopping List, appearing on this and the next page, is an extensive revision of its predecessor published on December 27, 1962. Only aircraft currently in production are included in the list. For the first time, orders for super sonic airliners are noted. This shopping-list includes military, government and executive orders as before, as well as military variants of current transport aircraft such as the Boeing KC-135A and Avro 748MF. The figures quoted after each airline are the number of aircraft actually in service and/or on order. Aircraft lost in accidents are deleted from the original totals ordered, as are aircraft sold by the carrier concerned. Apart from the Concorde and the as-yet non-existent American SST, the only new types this year are the Antonov An-24 and Douglas DC-9.
