FLIGHT International, 2 April 1964 Altitude Responsive OXYGEN Systems A new fully automatic passenger and crew oxygen system designed and developed by Kidde for the de Havilland Trident aircraft. The system is automatically brought into use immediately the cabin pressure drops below a pre-determined level, thus presenting oxygen to each crew member and to every passenger. If required, oxygen is available to all crew members throughout the flight by manual operation. Each individual component has been developed to a high degree to ensure maximum reliability in service and to give the greatest safety in the event of an emergency.
