The twin-turbine S-61R will deliver 30 troops or up to 8,000 pounds of useful load at 145 mph. It lands virtually anywhere, day or United Rircraft night, and offers the lowest oper- ating costs in the medium trans- port class. The S-61R has already begun operations with the U.S. Air Force. In addition to its primary mis- sion, the S-61R can handle air-sea rescue, drone recovery, and patrol INTERNATIONAL EAST HARTFORD 8, CONNECTICUT, U.S.A. assignments. It can also serve as a mine-sweeping and antisub- marine aircraft.
