AUSTRALIA invites applicants for TRAINING AS AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS The Department of Civil Aviation in Australia is seeking men between 20J and 36 years of age with university entrance standard of education desirable and experience as follows:— • Civilian Pilot, or • Pilot, navigator or aircrew signaller in tbe Armed Forces, or £ Civilian or military Air Traffic Controller. One year after completing a seven months training course an Air Traffic Controller, Grade 1 may expect to earn at the rate of approximately £1,700 p.a. with career prospects in excess of £3,000 p.a. (Australian currency). Attractive employment conditions include a 36 hour week, four weeks annual recreation leave and liberal long service and sick leave credits.
