FLIGHT International. 75 June 1964 a measure of quality A Plessiflex helical convoluting machine. simultaneous tests are important Through many years' experience, Power Auxiliaries have perfected realistic test techniques which ensure that Plessiflex convoluted helical hose will meet the most stringent specifications. Metallic hose for example, undergoes pressure-impulsing and constant flexing tests whilst subject to continuous vibration at a temperature of 750°C. Some Plessiflex tests are even tougher, others less so; but irrespective of the type of hose, its performance is proven beyond doubt before it is allowed to leave the plant. The machines which produce all Plessiflex products are special. Helically convoluted hose is the work of just such a machine, which convolutes inwards, passing the plain tube through a rotating die and converting it into a continuous helical convolute. Write to us about your flexible-coupling problem, it's more than likely we can help. Tests on Plessiflex metallic hose include heating to 750C, simultaneous vibrations and pressure-impulsing. Flexible metallic hose, bellows and thin-wall duct. POWER AUXILIARIES LIMITED "•J'» Kembrey Street, Swindon, Wiltshire. Telephone: Swindon 6211.
