Nusantara Airlines (Peritis Nusantara), a division of Murphree Air International Inc of Hollywood, was formed in 1968 by a group of US and Indonesian businessmen to operate international and domestic pas senger and cargo services from Djakarta. Flying Tiger Line is also believed to have an interest in Nusantara and have leased the airline its first aircraft. Eight more L- 1049Hs are expected to follow.
