Dragons over Scandinavia! Scandinavia has become the lair of Dragons. More than 500 are now flying the skies of Sweden and Denmark and will soon also be flying in Finland in defence oi' these three nations. The Saab 35 Draken (Dragon) was chosen by these costconscious nations because it offered optimum peacetime economy with superior military effectiveness. Training costs, for example, are kept low as trainee pilots can fly Draken solo after only 180 hours in the air. The Draken, like all Saab aircraft, is specifically designed for fast, economical service as well as operation from rugged, primitive bases. Turn-round time between missions is only 6 minutes, including refuelling and rearming. The DrakeiVs flexible external armament makes it a real multi-purpose aircraft. Intercept, attack, photo-reconnaissance and training versions of the proven Mach 2 Draken are in quantity service now. Saab-Scania, Aerospace Group S-581 88 Linkoping. Sweden <$m%?
