Candidates possessing an HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechani cal Engineering are preferred, although an Electrical Engineer with good experience in mechanical plant maintenance may also be considered. The successful candidate will have good experience in the maintenance of two or more of the following equipments:— Diesel generators; Boiler plant; Air Conditioning plant; Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems; Elevators and hoists; Sewage pumps; High and medium voltage electrical distribu tion systems and switch gear. The applicant will be required initially to supervise the introduction of planned maintenance systems for the above plant, and should have sound knowledge in this field. He will also be required to show experience of man management in a modern engineering context. The post will be at Grade AP "E" on a salary scale £2,388-£2,611 per annum.
