302 THIRD-LEVEL AIRLINES Avia Taxi France was formed as an air-taxi and charter operator but now flies third-level services between Paris and La Baule (for St Nazaire). Pyrenair operates a third-level service between Pau and Toulouse twice every weekday. Head Office: 64 Sevignacq-Meyracq. Fleet: Beech 18. Touraine Air Transport flies services to Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Bergerac, Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Deauville, La Bochelle, Montpellier, Paris, Poitiers and Bouen. Head Office: Aerogare de Tours, 37 Tours 02. Fleet: Eight Beech 99, one Beech Queen Air 65, one Cessna 402B, one 310, one 206, two Twin Otter 200, three Fokker F.27. Uni-Air Rouergue operates between Bodez and Paris. Head Office: 3 Alace du Sacre-Cour, 12-Bodez, France. Fleet: One Beech 99, one Queen Air B80, two B55 Baron, one Cessna 182. GERMANY BFD-Bayerische Flugdienst operates ser vices from Munich to Innsbruck, St Moritz, Zurich, Samedan, Hof and Frankfurt. Head Office: 8000 Munich-Eiem, Post-fach, Munich, West Germany. Fleet: Two Twin Otter, one Cessna 402, two single-engined types. General Air GmbH & Co KG was formed in 1962, and operates mainly in Northern Germany, including services to the islands off the North Sea coast. IFG Interregional-Fluggesellschaft mbH was formed in October 1967 to operate services linking Diisseldorf with Saar-briicken, Bremen, Hanover, Westerland and Munich. Head Office: Hughafen, Halle 4, Diisseldorf, West Germany. Fleet: One Fokker F.27, two Nord 262. Merkur Luftverkehrsgesellschaft began operating third-level services between Frankfurt and Freiburg in 1,972 using Herons. Head Office: Frankfurt, Germany. Fleet: Heron. Ostfriesische Lufttransport GmbH (OLT) was founded in 1958. The company flies services from Emden to Borkum, Juist, Norden and Nordeney in the Frisian Islands. Head Office: 297 Emden Flughafen, Emden, West Germany. Fleet: Islander, Cessna 402, Cessna 207, Cessna 172, Queen Air, Twin Otter. Sylt-Flug operates third-level services in the North Frisian Islands off the Danish Coast. Head Office: 228 Westerland Flug-platz, Westerland, Sylt. Westkiistenflug operates third-level ser vices on a seasonal basis in association with General Air from Hamburg to points in Schleswig-Holstein and the North Frisian Islands. Head Office: Postfach 33-Flugplatz, D-222 St Michaelisdonn. HONDURAS Aero Servicios S. de R.L. operates third-level services in Honduras from Teguci galpa, San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba. Head Office: Toncontin International Airport, PO Box 543, Tegucigalpa D.C., Honduras. Fleet: Three Aztec C, one Apache 235, two Cessna 206, six Cessna 180, one Lake amphibian. HONG KONG Hong Kong Air International Ltd oper ates a scheduled helicopter service from Kai Tak Airport to Hong Kong Island Heliport, and plans a service to Macao. Head Office: 3rd Floor, Asian House, 1 Hennessy Rd, Hong Kong. Fleet: Two Alouette III, one Bell 212, one Bell 47J2A. ICELAND Flugjonustan HF was formed in 1954 to operate air taxi services and ambulance flights in association with the Icelandic Saving Association. Head Office: Reykjavik Airport, Ice land. Fleet: One Dove, one Twin Bonanza, two Cessna 180. Flugsyn HF was founded in 1960. In 1964 authority was obtained for sched uled services to Neskaupstaour on the east coast of Iceland. Head Office: Reykjavik Airport, Ice land. Fleet: One DC-3, one Riley Twin Navion, one Apache, one Cessna 170B, three Cherokee 140, one Navion, one Norseman, one Voyager, four Cessna 140. ITALY Aertirrena SpA operates third-level and charter services from Florence. Head Office: Via le di Villa Grazioli 23, Borne 00198, Italy. Fleet: Two Yakovlev Yak-40, one Swearingen SA-26T, two Queen Air, one Baron, one Aztec, three BN-2 Islander. Air 70 began operations in 1972 and has applied to the Italian Directorate of Civil Aviation to operate services be tween Italy, Jugoslavia and Greece. Head Office: Palermo, Sicily. Fleet: One Yak-40 leased from Aer tirrena. Hong Kong Air uses a Bell 212 on services between Kai Tak airport and Hong Kong Island FLIGHT International, I March 1973 Luganair was formed early in 1972 to operate a third-level service between Lugano and Milan's two airports of Malpensa and Linate, using Partenavia Victors. Services were due to start in June 1972. Head Office: Lugano, Switzerland. Fleet: Partenavia Victor. JAPAN Central Airways Co Ltd (Chuo Koku KK) will operate third-level services from Chofu, near Tokyo. Head Office: Chofu Airport, Choiu City, Tokyo, Japan. Fleet: On order: one Islander. Yokohama Airlines operates third-level services from the seaport of Yokohama, but following the loss of one of its air craft in an accident last year was described as "financially weak" by the Japanese Ministry of Transport, and its routes might be taken over by the new third-level airline it has been proposed shall be formed by the three larger domestic carriers. KENYA Caspair Ltd, formerly a subsidiary of Safari Air Services Ltd, has for several years been operating scheduled services round Lake Victoria from Entebbe (Uganda) in association with East African Airways. In March 1972 a con trolling interest in Caspair was acquired by Investeco Africa Ltd. Caspair itself acquired Tic Charters Ltd of Malindi and now operates a Malindi-Lamu ser vice. On order: One Navajo Chieftain, one Aztec E. Safari Air Services Ltd operates sche duled services with Cessnas from Nairobi to the Kenya tourist centres. KOREA Century Airlines Co Ltd operates ser vices radiating from Seoul. Head Office: 125, 4-KA Chung Mu Ro, Chung Ku, Seoul, Korea. Fleet: Cherokee Six.
