St Thomas (US Virgin Islands) and to Beef Island Airport, Tortola (British Virgin Islands). There are currently three daily services, except on Sundays. The com pany received certification for com muter services on July 27, 1966. Air-taxi and charter work is also provided. Suburban Airlines is the scheduled com muter division of Reading Aviation Ser vices Inc. Regular services are currently operated between Reading, Lancaster (Pennsylvania) and Washington DC; New York Newark, Allentown (Pennsyl vania), Binghamton and Buffalo (New York); and between Reading, Lancaster and New York Kennedy Internationa] Airport. A Reading - Lancaster - Philadel phia service, which was inaugurated on March 1, 1973, is flown under contract to Allegheny Airlines as part of Alle gheny Commuter. Sud Air Transport, formerly known as Air Cote-Basque, began scheduled pas senger operations on April 2, 1973, with a twice-daily service between Biarritz and Toulouse, employing a Beech Queen Air. This service was suspended on a temporary basis in October 1974 and is expected to restart in the spring of this year. Suidwes Lugdiens (Edms) Beperk was established in 1946 as South West Air Transport (Pty) Ltd, and began sched uled operations from Windhoek two years later. Now under the control of Safmarine, which owns 85 per cent of the stock, Suidwes Lugdiens provides scheduled feeder services to connect with SAA flights at Windhoek. Its coastal route links Windhoek (Eros Airport) with Capetown via Walvis Bay, Lude-ritz and Alexander Bay, the northern route serves Tsumeb arid Grootfontein from Windhoek, and the Etosha route connects Halali and Okaukuejo to Wind hoek. The present title of the airline was adopted in March 1959 upon merg ing with Oryx Aviation, a small charter company. Routes flown are Atlanta (Georgia)-Chattanooga (Tennes see) - Huntsville/Decatur - Birmingham (Alabama), Philadelphia - Allentown - Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (all in Pennsyl vania), Williamsport - Harrisburg - Phila delphia, Philadelphia - New York/New ark - Boston (Massachusetts), Buffalo (New York) - Rochester (New York) -Philadelphia, Boston - New York - Phil adelphia - Baltimore (Maryland) - Wash ington DC, and Atlanta - Knoxville (Tennessee) - Tri-City Airport (Tennes see). At least one daily service is op erated on each route. The airline is a subsidiary of Summit Aviation Inc. Sun Aire Lines is the operating name of Borrego Springs Airline, which was cer tificated for scheduled commuter opera tions in November 1968, The airline currently provides connections between Borrego Springs, Palm Springs and San Diego, all in California. Swift Aire Lines began operations in March 1969 with one Piper Navajo be tween San Luis Obispo and Sacramento via San Jose and San Francisco. Sched uled services have since considerably expanded and currently provide 115 daily departures serving Sacramento, Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, Los An geles, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles, San Jose and San Fran cisco. Taiwan Airways Corporation (TAC), a domestic charter and air-taxi operator, is planning to introduce scheduled third-level air services linking Taipei to some of the smaller communities in the Re public, as well as international flights with Islanders and Cessna 402s. Taiwan Airways was founded in 1966 and re organised in October 1973. Sun Airlines Inc flies Beech Queen Airs on scheduled commuter services in Flor ida, linking Lakeland, St Petersburg/ Albert Whitted Airport, Sarasota, Tam pa and Talahassee. Four daily flights are scheduled between Tampa, Sarasota and Talahassee, and one daily service between St Petersburg, Lakeland, Tam pa and Talahassee. No services are op erated at the weekend. Sun Valley Key Airlines, a division of Key Transportation Inc, operates daily scheduled passenger and freight flights throughout a four-state area in the Intermountain West. The airline began scheduled commuter air carrier opera tions in April 1964. Present flight routes are Salt Lake City-Provo, Salt Lake City - Ogden - Brigham City - Logan, Salt Lake City - Sun Valley, Sun Valley - Boise, Salt Lake City - Price - Moab, Salt Lake City - Elko, Elko - Reno and Moab - Grand Junction (replacement Frontier Airlines service). During the summer months the airline operates limited scheduled services into the Idaho Wild- Head Office: 5th Floor, 157 Nanking East Road, Section 2, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China. 9 538167/8/9. Talair Pty Ltd, until recently known as Territory Airlines Pty Ltd, was formed in January 1952. The airline operates extensive scheduled commuter services to over 70 airstrips throughout the High lands, Madang and Sepik districts of Papua New Guinea, utilising Twin Otters and Cessna 402s. In addition to its scheduled flights, Talair also operates charter services from its bases at Port Moresby, Goroka, Ohimbu, Mendi, Wabag, Wewak, Madang and Mt Hagen.
