Trans New England Airlines Inc is a scheduled all-cargo conimuter which currently operates Douglas DC-3s over the routes Boston (Massachusetts) - Hartford (Connecticut) - Rochester (New York) - Detroit/Metropolitan Air port (Michigan), Boston - Manchester (New Hampshire) - Portland (Maine), Rochester - Detroit - Chicago O'Hare (Illinois) - Milwaukee (Wisconsin), and Akron/Canton (Ohio) - Cleveland (Ohio) - Rochester - Detroit. Transportes Aereos Buenos Aires SA (TABA) came into being in 1956 as a charter operator, and started scheduled passenger services in Buenos Aires Province from Buenos Aires to Neco-chea, Tandil and Tres Arroyos. No con firmation has been received as to whether or not these are still operated. Transportes Aereos de Mocambique Lda (TAM) no longer provides scheduled services between Beira, Buzi, Luabo and Pande. The company continues with charter operations only. Trans-Provincial Airlines Ltd operates extensive scheduled passenger services in British Columbia, linking Prince Rupert/Digby Island and Prince Rupert/ Seal Cove to Stewart, Alice Arm, Mas-set Sandspit, Hartley Bay, Bella Bella, Ocean Falls, Prince George, Smithers and Terrace. Another service is op erated from Prince Rupert across the border to Ketchikan in Alaska. The air line has bases at Prince Rupert, Prince George, Smithers, Sandspit and Ocean Falls, from which it also undertakes charter work. Trans-Provincial Airlines was founded in 1960. Trans-West Air Charter (WA) JPty Ltd operates third-level services in Western Australia from Port Hedland to Marble Bar, Nullagine and Hillside; Kalgoorlie and Perth to Leonora, Windarra and Tiaverton: and from Mt Goldworthy to Port Hedland and Shay Gap. Tricon International Airlines Inc flies scheduled all-cargo routes within Texas and to the neighbouring state of Louis iana. Points served from Dallas/Fort Worth (Love Field) are Austin, Long-view, Tyler, Temple and Waco (all in Texas), as well as Shreveport (Louis iana). There are at present two daily services over the route Dallas - Tyler - Longview - Shreveport and Dallas -Waco - Temple - Austin. The airline also provides cargo charter flights. Tropic Air Services Pty Ltd currently provides scheduled passenger and frieght services in Western Australia, linking Carnarvon with Denham, Shark Bay and Useless Loop. The company also provides flight training, general charter work and aerial mustering. Tropic Air Services was formed in 1968 and is owned by Keith N. Hasleby and T. V. Cahill. FLIGHT International, 13 February 1975 United Air Services (Pty) Ltd, based at Wonderboom Airport, Pretoria, operates scheduled feeder services to rural areas in the Transvaal, which were begun in June 1972. Daily services link Jan Smuts Airport, Johannesburg, Potgietersrust and Pietersburg. Another schedule is operated from Wonderboom to Jan Smuts Airport, Vryburg, Sishen and Kimberley. Fleet: Three Douglas DC-3, one Beech Queen Air, one Cessna 401. Upper Valley Aviation Inc is authorised to fly scheduled mail services from McAllen in the extreme south of Texas. Three airmail routes are currently operated, serving San Antonio, Dallas, Austin and Corpus Christi. The company is also engaged in passenger and cargo charter work. Tugela Air Services currently flies a twice-daily scheduled passenger service between inland Ladysmith and the coastal port of Durban (Louis Botha Airport). These services are operated in conjunction with the Durban-based company Rennies Air (Natal), using their aircraft. Tugela Air also provides charter services. Turks and Caicos Airways Ltd, formed in February 1972 by American and British interests, operates scheduled and char ter services within the Turks and Caicos Islands, linking Grand Turk, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos, Salt Cay and Providenciales. The airline also provides scheduled services to and within the Republic of Haiti, serving Port-au-Prince, Jeremie, Jacmel, Cap Haitien, Port-au-Paix and Cayes. Union Air Pty Ltd provides daily scheduled passenger services in Queens land between Maryborough and Orchid Beach, with a Sunday extension to Maroochydone and Brisbane. Flights leave Maryborough generally at 1140hr. Union Air operates in association with Ansett Airlines of Australia. Charter services are also undertaken. Fleet: One BN-2A Islander, one Beech Queen Air. -ill Vaengir HF at present operates 45 scheduled flights per week, serving ten small communities, mainly on the west and north-west coast of Iceland. These are Siglufjordur, Blonduos, Rif, Stykkis-holmur, Holt, Holmavik, Gjogur, Bildu- dalur, Reykholar and Buoardalur. Ambu lance service, sightseeing flights within Iceland and charters to Greenland are some of the airline's other activities. Vaengir was founded on May 25, 1950, and is now the only airline (with the exception of Icelandair) which is author ised to operate scheduled air services in Iceland. Valley Airlines Inc—see PNA, Pacific Northwest Airlines Vanguard Airways Inc has cancelled all scheduled operations in Louisiana, which used to serve New Orleans, Houma, Morgan City, New Iberia, La fayette and Lake Charles. Vercoa Air Service Inc operates sched uled commuter services with Beech 99s in association with Allegheny Airlines under the Allegheny Commuter title. Cities served from Vermilion County Airport, Danville, are Chicago (Illinois) and Muncie, Indianapolis, Bloomington and Terre Haute (Indiana). Charters, aircraft sales and maintenance, crop-spraying and flight training are also offered. Vercoa Air Service was formed in 1956 by its present owners, William and Marilyn Britt.
