Decca Aviation Electronics- the choice of an ever growing number of users. Decca Doppler Navigation Systems have been installed in 75 different types of rotary and fixed wing aircraft and supplied to 35 different countries. The TANS Computer/Display is in service in a number of countries and has been ordered by the British Ministry of Defence for a number of aircraft programmes. The Decca Navigator is used by the Royal Air Force, British Airways and in a wide variety of fixed and rotary wing civil and military aircraft throughout the world. Decca Loran is used by the RAF, the USAF and the US Coast Guard. The MONA area navigation system, certified by the CAA and FAA in the Lockheed TriStar, is now in widespread airline service. Decca provides a range of airborne VHF Nav/Comm and DME equipment, ordered in quantity by the M.O.D. Ground equipment includes a CAA approved NDB, ILS and a Doppler/VOR Beacon recently awarded a contract by the Portuguese Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The AN/TRN-26 portable TACAN has been chosen by the Ministry of Defence (RAF). The Decca range of equip ment includes electronic warfare systems, ASMI, radio communications and Omega.
