148 FLIGHT International, 15 January 1977 SHIFT SUPERVISORS CREW SCHEDULING Starting salaries c. £10,500 p.a. (income tax free) Saudia, the airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is seeking as part of a planned programme of expansion - a number of men, aged under 45, to work as Shift Supervisors on Crew Scheduling in their Flight Operations Department. Applicants must have 2-3 years relevant airline experience and be educated to G.C.E. A' level standard. Duties include supervision of the crew schedule shift operations, on a daily basis, monitoring and controlling the assignments of qualified cockpit and cabin crews on Saudia flights from Jeddah and co-ordination with other operations services departments regarding crew movement and coverage in cases of irregularity and equipment substitution. These jobs, which are for a 2-year (renewable) contract period, are based in Jeddah.
