FLIGHT International, 15 January (977 flMh MANCHESTER AIRPORT Dan-Air Engineering is expanding its aircraft maintenance facility at Manchester. We now need more suitably qualified and experienced Engineers to maintain our HS 748 and BAC l-l I aircraft. ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER (DEVELOPMENT) Salary £4220 p.a. (under review) The Project Engineer will be involved in all engineering matters concerning the HS 748. Ensuring adequate logistic back-up, investi gating and appraising recurring defects and reporting on a continuous basis on all aspects of aircraft maintenance. Applicants should hold CAA licence 'A' and 'C on HS 748, but consideration will be given to 'A' licence holders with good engine experience. QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER: Salary £3950 (inc. licence pay) To join our quality control team to ensure our high engineering standards are maintained. Applicants must be CAA licensed 'A' or 'C on large pressurised jet aircraft. Preference will be given to 'A' licensed holders on HS 748 or BAC l-l I. This position is based at Manchester but some travel to outstations will be included. Extra payments are made for examiners approval/overtime and increased licence cover. DUAL-LICENSED ENGINEERS: Salary C £4350 p.a. (inc. licence and approval pay) Applicants must hold CAA licences in the following paragraphs. HS 748 'A' and 'C or 'X' Para. 8 and 9 or BAC l-l 'A' and 'C or 'X' para 10.1.4 Extra payments are made for overtime and increased licence approval cover. LICENSED ENGINEERS: Salary C £3,775 p.a. (inc. licence and approval pay) Applicants must be experienced in aircraft overhaul/maintenance and hold CAA licence 'A', 'C or 'X' on HS 748 or BAC l-l I. Extra payments are made for overtime and increased licence approval cover. PLANNING ENGINEER: Salary £3648 p.a. To carry out forward maintenance planning on company aircraft. Applicants must be trained engineers and be familiar with civil aircraft procedures, current legislation and aircraft technical publica tions. Preference will be given to candidates who hold one of the following engineering qualifications: Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence, HNC or City and Guilds full Tech. Certificate. UNLICENSED ENGINEERS: We have a number of vacancies for Mechanics (all trades) with relevant experience on large pressurised jet aircraft.
