The division is already under contract to provide full engin eering support to the Light Air craft Division of the region's major operator-comprising a fleet of 12 aircraft, including F27, SC7, B100 and BN2 types. This is a position for a self- motivating professional, with wide experience and proven capability of operating at top management level. Applicants must have held commissioned rank as a pilot in one of the British Armed Forces, and have retired recently or be on the point of retirement. The age limit is strictly 45, with preference being given to the younger man. Qualifications are:— Fighter Pilots (For Hunter and Jaguar aircraft) A good military flying background, with considerable experience in the ground attack role, is essential. Ref: No: 4 Helicopter Pilots Good all-round helicopter flying experience in a military role is essential, preferably on turbine-engined aircraft, and an instrument rating is desirable. Ref: No: 3 Transport Pilots Previous experience of medium/light transport aircraft in a military role is essential. Ref: No: 2 These are uniformed contract appointments of 3 years duration, and are unaccompanied (although short family visits to Oman are possible).
