Britannia Airways Limited Pilots Britannia Airways is a major independent airline and part of the International Thomson Organisation. Due to further expansion for summer 1979 and planned expansion for 1980 and 1981, further Co-Pilots are required for conversion training this spring. The minimum qualifications are UK CPL, IRR and performance A, 1,000 hours including at least 500 hours on twin jet-prop or jet aircraft. Preference will be given to pilots having more than 2,000 hours and aged under 42. Britannia's steady growth offers excellent promotion prospects. A large number of our Co-Pilots will be promoted in 1979 and 1980. Candidates seeking early promotion should have at least 4,000 hours with 1,000 hours on jets. All these posts are permanent and pensionable to the age of 60.
